Tagging onto a ski trip to British Columbia, we took a quick 7 hour flight to Anchorage, Alaska.  From there we drove to Girdwood and the home of Alyeska Ski Resort.  Moose walked the slopes, and the hotel offered a "northern lights wake up call."  We took a helicopter tour of a glacier field with ice as blue as the sky. Skiing above the clouds and overlooking the ocean was a trip we will never forget.
